Financial well-being is calm confidence when dealing with money and making financial decisions. That calm confidence arises and can be sustained when financial decisions support your values and achievement of your life vision.
To be clear, financial well-being is not about having “a lot of money” or “being able to buy anything you want.” Money in and of itself cannot and will not get you there. Instead, financial well-being is focused on understanding your current financial health, your values, your unique life vision and learning how to use your financial resources strategically to achieve that vision.
Financial well-being is also about understanding your direct experience with money and what beliefs or behaviors may be holding you back, compromising your values, or limiting your life vision. It’s about becoming the person who can make informed financial decisions and not feel anxiety, guilt, or overwhelmed during or after the decision is made. It’s having the knowledge and tools to make good financial decisions and not letting past money experiences negatively influence those decisions.
Money is a tool for creating a good life. Achieving a life vision that is uniquely yours. Based on your values. Based on those things that bring you the greatest joy. What do you really want from life? What is your version of fulfillment? Use your energy and finances to fuel it.
Let’s get started !!
